The Blog

I love to write and keep a journal, but I find it really hard to be able to sit down and write my thought and stick to it so I figured I would write a blog online that way I can keep up with it, but it doesn't have to be a everyday thing.  As a new mom it's hard to find time to do things that need to get done.  I feel lucky when I'm able to get the house cleaned and a shower taken....really lucky if I'm able to start supper at a decent time.  My son and I just moved back to Fort Bragg, North Carolina with my husband who is in the Active Duty Military.  I'm finding out firsthand what it's like to take care of a new baby and try to keep up the obligations of a stay at home army wife.  We were living at my parents and I didn't have to worry about the house as much and I also had alot of help when it came to the baby, but now I'm on my own.  It's taken sometime to get use to, but I think we are all slowly adjusting to the new lifestyle.  My husband helps out around the house as much as possible and he is starting to get use to having a baby around.  I'm trying to start an at home daycare business so I'm able to stay home with my son, but still contribute to our families income!  I don't even want to think about what it will be like when I get a couple kids to watch, plus my son, plus the housework, and the cooking.  Wow, by the end of the day I will be pulling out my hair.  Anyways, this seems to be a good start for now.  I plan to try to blog at least once a week and more if I have the time.  We will just have to see how it goes.  It will be easier once we get into a good and set routine, but until then we are taking it a moment at a time and enjoying every minute with our precious baby boy, Zander Michael Ray Ford :)
